Below are facilities of the Yomiuri Shimbun Groups.

  • The Yomiuri Shimbun Building

    This building houses the Yomiuri Shimbun Holdings and The Yomiuri Shimbun's Tokyo headquarters. The Editorial Bureau and other divisions related to publishing the newspaper are gathered here, and the building is equipped with the highest level of earthquake-resistant and disaster-prevention functions so that the newspaper can continue to be published in the event of a major disaster. With 33 stories above ground and three below, the building also has facilities, including a hall that is open to the public.

  • Yomiuri Otemachi Hall

    Yomiuri Otemachi Hall is a multipurpose theater hall with a seating capacity of 501 that is capable of accommodating a wide variety of events, including classical music concerts, film screenings, traditional performing arts and symposiums. The unique wall made of layered semi-cylindrical wood reflects sound from the stage in all directions, giving the hall exceptional acoustics.

  • Yomiuri Otemachi Small Hall

    This facility is located inside Yomiuri Otemachi Hall. This event space with a flat floor allows tables and chairs to be arranged freely. It is suitable for seminars, meetings, exhibitions and parties of about 200-300 people.

  • Yomiuri Gallery

    Equipped with a 24-meter-long exhibition case, this space is used for The Yomiuri Shimbun's special exhibitions. The exhibits are changed periodically and mainly feature events related to The Yomiuri Shimbun, such as exhibitions on the history of the Tokyo-Hakone Intercollegiate Ekiden relay race (Hakone Ekiden) and of journalistic photographs.

  • Shimbun Kyoshitsu (classroom to learn about newspapers)

    Company tours are available for fourth graders and older. Through experiencing the work of reporters, they will get familiar with various jobs at a newspaper. The tours are free and require a reservation. There is also the News Lab, an exhibition space showing the history of The Yomiuri Shimbun and how newspapers are printed through videos and models. This space is accessible by the general public.

  • Yomiuri Shop

    The shop sells goods related to "Neko Pitcher," a popular manga series published in the Sunday edition of The Yomiuri Shimbun, as well as merchandise related to the Yomiuri Giants professional baseball team.

  • Yomiuri Clinic

    This medical clinic is located on the sixth floor of the Yomiuri Shimbun Building. It was established as the Yomiuri Shinryo-jo (doctor's office) in 1929 in the Kanda-Misakicho district of Tokyo. While changing its locations to Ginza and Otemachi, it continued to provide medical services to not only Yomiuri employees but also local residents. The current name was given to the institution when the new building was completed in Otemachi in January 2014.

  • Yomikaki no Mori Nursery

    This in-company nursery serves children 57 days old to pre-school age. It accpets not only children of Yomiuri Shimbun employees but also those of workers at nearby companies that have signed corporate contracts with The Yomiuri Shimbun. The facility is the first in-company nursery in the newspaper industry in Japan.

  • The Yomiuri Osaka Building

    This building houses The Yomiuri Shimbun's Osaka headquarters. Surrounded by green parkland, it has 14 stories above ground and two below.

  • Gallery Yomiuri

    Gallery Yomiuri is a multipurpose facility equipped with projectors, wireless microphones and other audio-video equipment for the use of lectures, training seminars and a variety of other events. The space can be used in various layouts, including a theater style with up to 180 seats and a classroom style with up to 96 seats.

  • Y Square

    Y Square is a 90-square-meter space that can host various events, product sales and exhibitions. It is also avaialble for the general public. It has hosted a wealth of events and exhibitions, including picture book-reading and other events related to music, traditional culture, and the railroad.

  • YG Stadium

    The only store exclusively selling Yomiuri Giants merchandise in the Kansai area. It sells items that can be used to root for the team at the stadium and small items that can be used in day-to-day life. Orders are taken online and over the phone as well. The store also sells limited-edition items when the Giants win the league or the Japan Series championship.

  • Osaka Yomiuri-do Bookstore

    This bookstore offers an assortment of books and magazines published by not only The Yomiuri Shimbun and Chuokoron-Shinsha but also various other publishers. Catalogs and tickets for art exhibitions related to The Yomiuri Shimbun and a variety of goods related to the popular "Neko Pitcher" manga published in the Sunday edition of The Yomiuri Shimbun are also on sale. Orders for books, magazines and comics are also taken online, not just over the counter.

  • Yurakucho Yomiuri Hall

    A rental hall within the Yomiuri Kaikan Building in Yurakucho, Tokyo, with 1,100 seats (522 on the first floor, 578 on the second floor). It has been used for over half a century for musical performances, rakugo and other classical theaters, comedy shows, film screenings and other events.

  • Marronnier Gate Ginza 1, 2, 3

    These three commercial facilities are located at the gateway to Tokyo's Ginza Marronnier-dori street. The predecessor of Marronnier Gate Ginza 2 and 3 is the department store Printemps Ginza, which began operating in 1984. The facilities have a variety of tenants, including major apparel chains, famous fashion brands and restaurants.

  • Yomiuri Namiki-dori Street Building

    The building was named after Namiki-dori street in Ginza it is facing. With 10 stories above ground and three below as well as the frontage along Namiki-dori measuring about 50 meters wide, the building is one of the biggest in the Ginza area. It is adjacent to Marronnier Gate Ginza, a commercial building owned by the Yomiuri Shimbun Tokyo headquarters and attracts many customers daily, contributing to the vitality of the area.

  • Yomiuri-Kaikan Building

    This commercial building is a landmark in the JR Yurakucho Station area. It was designed by Togo Murano, a famous architect of the Showa era, in 1957. It inspired the production of an old hit song, Yurakucho de aimasho (Let's meet in Yurakucho). Up to the sixth floor is the commercial zone while floors seven to nine are for a movie theater and Yurakucho Yomiuri Hall.

  • Yomiuri Shimbun Nagoya Building

    Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya hotel opened at the site of the former office building of The Yomiuri Shimbun's Chubu branch. With 12 stories above ground and one below, the hotel has 360 guestrooms. There are banquet and meeting rooms that can be used for receptions and business purposes. The land and building are owned by the Yomiuri Shimbun Tokyo headquarters.

  • SENRITO Yomiuri

    SENRITO Yomiuri is a commercial facility operated in Toyonaka, Osaka Prefecture, by the Yomiuri Shimbun Osaka headquarters and the Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation. It was developed comprehensively with a high-rise condominium of the Kansai Electric Power Group and directly connected to Senri-Chuo Station. The name SENRITO was coined from plays on words meaning "together with Senri" and "the city of Senri." About 50 establishments, including restaurants, a supermarket and medical clinics, are operating in the building. It also houses SENRITO Yomiuri Hall with the maximum seating capacity of 130.

  • Yomiuriland

    Yomiuriland is an amusement park spanning Inagi, Tokyo, and Kawasaki. From thrill rides and other attractions to "Goodjoba!!," which provides the experience of making things. The seasonal pool and illumination are also popular. There are a host of facilities around the park, including Hana-Biyori, Kid-o-Kid, and Yomiuri Golf Garden.

  • Tokyo Yomiuri Country Club

    A membership-based golf course run by Yomiuri Land. It is a prestigious course that plays host to the Golf Nippon Series, a professional tournament. Yomiuri Land also manages the corporate membership-based Yomiuri Golf Club in Inagi, Tokyo, and the Chiba Yomiuri Country Club in Ichihara, Chiba Prefecture, which is open to the public.

  • Yomiuri Country Club

    A membership-based golf club in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture run by Yomiuri Golf, a member of the Yomiuri Shimbun Group. It is known as the former site of the Yomiuri Open, a professional men's golf tournament. The company also manages Yomiuri Golf West Course, which is open to the public.

  • Yomiuri Land Care Center

    A long-term health care facility for the elderly managed by the Yomiuri Light and Humanity Association, a social welfare corporation in the Yomiuri Shimbun Group. The facility has 150 beds and all rooms are private.

  • Yomiuri Land Hana House

    A specialized nursing home for the elderly managed by the Yomiuri Light and Humanity Association, a social welfare corporation in the Yomiuri Shimbun Group. It has 160 beds and all rooms are private. Its sister facility is Hana House Sumire Kan, which offers small-scale intensive care.

  • Tokyo Giants Town

    This is a project that consists of building a new Yomiuri Giants baseball stadium, aquarium, restaurants and other establishments on a 76,000-square-meter site. Construction of the baseball stadium began in July 2023 for the planned opening in March 2025. Three Group companies, The Yomiuri Shimbun, the Yomiuri Giants and Yomiuri Land, are collaborating to carry out the project.

  • Yomiuri College of Tokyo

    This vocational school is operated by the Yomiuri Institute of Technology, an educational corporation in the Yomiuri Shimbun Group. It consists of seven departments: "broadcasting/program production," "IT engineer/architecture/electrical," and "medical /welfare.'' In April 2020, the school relocated from Shiba, Minato Ward, Tokyo to Koishikawa, Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo.

  • Yomiuri College of Car Mechanic

    This is a vocational school operated by the Yomiuri Institute of Technology, an educational corporation in the Yomiuri Shimbun Group, for students aiming to become nationally qualified automobile mechanics. It has a two-year course for students aimed at becoming a second-class automobile mechanic, and a four-year course for those aimed at becoming a first-class automobile mechanic. It is a "Type 1" training school designated by the Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Minister, which is exempt from practical exams.
